April’s biggest crypto events are The NFT Gathering and the Alberta Technology Symposium.
The NFT Gathering takes place on April 20-21, 2022 in Banff, AB. The event will focus on the future of NFTs. Speakers include Andy Krainak, President of VeeFriends, Tyler Schmitt, the General Manager of 137pm, and Pieter Boekhoff, founder of NFTz.Studio. You can mint your ticket here.
The Alberta Technology Symposium occurs on the same dates, on April 20-21, 2022 (Wednesday and Thursday) at The Grand in downtown Calgary. Topics for discussion include Crypto, Fintech, Digital Transformation, ESG, and Growth in Alberta. You can buy tickets on Eventbrite.
Others:
YYC Bitcoin will be sharing an intro to bitcoin nodes on Tuesday, April 12 at 6:30 pm. It’s a great place to learn about bitcoin, ask questions, and get deeper into bitcoin! A meet-and-greet follows at 7:30 pm. YYC Bitcoin’s events take place once every two weeks (the next one is planned for April 26).
There’s also the NFT Meetup which happens once every two weeks, at Madison’s 12|12. Their 9th gathering will take place this Thursday, April 14, at 4:30 pm. There’ll be plenty of NFT enthusiasts of all levels. You never know who you’re speaking with.
Third, word is that there’s an NFT meetup which happens at Socality on 17th Ave every Tuesday in the early evening (5ish?).
Last, there’s our very own Crypto Show-and-Tell event happening on Sunday, April 24 at 9 am. Eugene will share how MakerDAO works. Please RSVP here so we know how many donuts to get!
